The illustrations are magnificent and the text is direct and easy to follow. This style ensures that this book will be a valuable guide for both residents as well as for more experienced neurosurgeons. It will serve as a quick reference before one embarks on treating a patient with a traumatic neurosurgical disorder, or in preparing to take an examination. Although there are other texts that deal with neurotrauma, none of them are as digestible as this one. I could wax eloquent on the many merits of this book. I don't need to. As you simply flip through its pages, you will see for yourself that this is a book worth having — not just to display on your bookshelf, but to keep handy and to use on an everyday basis. You will have no trouble putting it to good use.
